Recycling – green bin
If you can’t fit all of your recycling waste in your green bin, you can leave any extra recycling by the side of the bin. Please ensure it is left out in a cardboard box or in clear bin bags so that crews can see that it is recycling waste. Boxes left are at the residents own discretion and the council will not replace them if missing or damaged.
Food waste recycling – food bin
Extra food waste that cannot fit into your bin can be left in a bag on top of the food bin
Rubbish – black bin
As 80 per cent of household waste is recyclable we do not collect extra household rubbish that doesn’t fit into your black bin. Any extra can be taken to Oxfordshire County Council Household Waste Recycling centres (tips)
