Report a skin piercing concern

We carryout enforcement of local byelaws at premises which offer the following activities:

  • Tattooists
  • Acupuncturists
  • Semi-permanent tattooing including microblading
  • Electrolysis
  • Cosmetic piercing

 We are able to investigate:

  • infections
  • unhygienic or dirty premises
  • poor hygiene practices
  • unregistered premises

If you’re unsure if an operator offering skin piercing and other special treatments is registered, you can request to see their registration certificate which should be on display in the premises, or you can contact us to see if they are included on our register.
