Tenant enquiries (non residential) including community halls and sports clubs

If you are a tenant in one of our non residential properties or community halls, you or your solicitor will need to contact us before you make any changes if you would like to:

  • Sublet or assign
  • Make alterations to the building
  • Change the use of the building
  • Consent to submit a planning application
  • Anything else required by the terms of your lease

Please be aware that you will be responsible for the council’s costs in dealing with this matter and the Strategic Property team will be able to advise further. 

Once this is picked up by a member of our Strategic Property team, you will need to provide us with the following information:

  • A copy of the lease and/or under lease
  • Your solicitor’s details
  • Details of proposed works, proposed subtenant, proposed use, terms of any sub tenancy, financial details of assignee etc. if applicable.
