The 5 Year Land Supply

A spokesperson for South Oxfordshire District Council said: “We are extremely disappointed in the outcome of the Little Sparrows, Sonning Common, appeal decision issued by the Planning Inspectorate.  This is because of the clear disparity between the decision and our recently published five year housing land supply statement, which demonstrated a 5.33 year housing land supply, and a surplus of 374 homes against our 5 year requirement. The planning inquiry for the appeal ended in May, so the appeal Inspector did not have the opportunity to consider our new annual statement when making his decision. 

“We’re currently considering options regarding our position in light of this appeal decision”
