Missed Bins

Reporting missed bin(s) collection

  Important Information  
 

  • We can only accept missed bin reports for residential properties in South Oxfordshire
  • We are not responsible for commercial waste collections,
  • You can submit a missed collection report for the following coloured wheelie bins:
    • Brown (Garden waste),
    • Green (Recycling) plus (Recycle - tatty, torn and unusable old clothes and textiles - in tied carrier bags),
    • Grey (Rubbish/Non-Recycling) plus (Recycle - broken or unusable small electrical goods - in tied carrier bags)
    • Green kerbside caddy bin (Food waste).

Please note

  • that on waste and recycling contrator Biffa will investigate the missed collection and may call you to discuss it before deciding if a crew can be sent back to collect the rubbish or recycling.

Missed bin policy
  • You must report a missed collection by midnight of the next working day following your scheduled collection. Biffa will return within two working days of receiving a missed bin report for any validated missed collections.
  • If a bin is reported as missed after the end of the next working day following the scheduled collection day, Biffa will not be able to go back and empty.
